Kletsheads (klets = Dutch for “chatter”) is a podcast series about bilingual children for parents, teachers, and speech language therapists. The podcast is run by Dr. Sharon Unsworth, a linguist at Radboud University Nijmegen in the Netherlands. In addition to researching bilingual development in children, Dr. Unsworth is also a mom of two bilingual children (English and Dutch).
In each episode of the podcast, she discusses a topic about bilingualism with another expert. They share research findings that help to understand the language development of bilingual children. For example, they discuss topics like what language bilingual siblings tend to use amongst themselves and why, or how to know whether your bilingual child has a speech delay.
